Attending Your First Hula Hoop Class

Updated: May 14

*Please note in May and June 2023 we will be in the main Sports Centre building/field, not the sixth form centre*

Attending a new class can always be a bit scary (take it from me, I always get so anxious before going to something new).๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

That's why I pulled together this short clip and a few hints so you know what to expect.

My top tips to prepare for your first hula hoop class:

โœ… Have a look through our page and some of the videos so you can visualize what the class will be like. โญ•

โœ… Get your outfit ready the night before so you don't have a mad rush after a busy day. (Remember our hoops love tight fitted clothing)! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

โœ… Grab yourself a bottle of water to bring along to stay hydrated. ๐Ÿ’ง

โœ… Allow yourself enough time to get to the venue, park up and come and say hi to me and your fellow hoopers. ๐Ÿ‘‹

โœ… Remember it can take around 3 to 4 lessons before you really feel like you've mastered the hula hoop. Be patient with yourself. The goal of the class is to have a good time, so if you drop that hoop, smile, pick it back up again and have another go - you've got this. ๐Ÿ’ช

โœ… If you can't make it last minute it's okay just drop me a message so I know. If you provide 24 hours notice you can move your class to another slot.
