Beginner-friendly hula hoop fitness classes, Suffolk 

Hula hooping is a fun, playful way to move the body, with the added benefit of strengthening the core and supporting posture from head to toe.

Hula With Abs offers mixed-ability, beginner-friendly hula hoop fitness classes that welcome adults of all ages, sizes and experience levels. Classes are designed primarily for adults, with well-behaved teenagers welcome when accompanied by an adult, a reminder that hooping can be discovered (and loved) at any age.
 

While the focus is on enjoyment and inclusivity, classes can still be as challenging as you want them to be. Hooping can feel light and joyful, or deliver a surprisingly effective full-body workout, without the pressure or intimidation of a traditional gym environment.​

Our Classes & Events

Hula With Abs brings fun fitness to Stowupland and Needham Market

Hula With Abs is led by Abby, a passionate hula hoop instructor with over 15 years of experience and a genuine love for making fitness feel accessible and enjoyable. Classes welcome all levels, from first-time hoopers to those ready for something a little more challenging.
 

Abby has trained with HulaFit and Live Love Hoop, contributed to the Hula Dancercise global course, and proudly represents This Girl Can Suffolk. Her teaching style centres around inclusive, confidence-boosting fitness that puts people before performance.
 

Weekly classes take place in Stowupland and Needham Market, serving Stowmarket, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and nearby Suffolk communities. New locations are always being explored, get in touch if you’d like to see a class near you.

Face to Face Fitness Classes

Hula With Abs offers welcoming hula hoop fitness focused on feel-good movement, where everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace.

Foundations is ideal for beginners and those wanting a time to practise. Ultimate is higher-intensity, with more continuous movement and a wider range of hooping challenges. 

Hula Hen Parties, 1:1 Sessions and Special Events 

We bring the hoops, the music, and the feel-good energy. Sessions are tailored to you, whether you want a full-on hula party for your hen do, garden party for your 60th birthday bash, a relaxed skills session, or just lots of laughs with friends in a smaller setting.
